Founded in Lyon, France, Handicap International is a non-profit humanitarian organization focused on the issue of disability.

Since its creation in 1982, the vision of Handicap International is to promote sustainable change to ensure that people with disabilities, victims of war or natural disasters, and people affected by disease or poverty are treated as full citizens with equal opportunities for community participation.
